Current Craze.

My current favourite website:

I'm so nuts...when it comes to him.
Thank you God for such a beautiful creation :P I love you God.

The Reason.

I almost typed the 'Raisin' for the title of this posting :P My craving for food is irrescuable.

Anyway, what I'm sharing today happened last night before I go to bed. My phone ran out of credit. Yes, it was RM 0.00 the last time I checked, and it still is RM 0.00 now. My lazy-fat-heavy bum just wouldn't move to get a reload card at the nearest mobile phone shop or 7 Eleven which is only 3 to 5 minutes walk from my place.

I prayed to God that TY will call me now... Amen. Ring ring. My phone rang few seconds later. God is so great. But it was not the phone call that made me love God more, it was something else...

After chatting with TY, I gave thanks for the phone call and smiled while I closed my eyes, preparing to enter my dreamland where I could probably walk on the sea or marry Travis Fimmel.

Then, it happened suddenly. I realised this most amazing thing..

I accepted Christ just 2 weeks ago. It happened for a reason. The reason was because God loves me. God anwered my prayer last night for a reason. The reason was because God wants me to realise that my loved ones i.e. TY, my family and my friends, will be saved.

That was why I am a believer. That was why I was placed around them. That was why.... So that God can put His plans into work.

Praise the Lord.

Ten Ten.

10th of october...a special date it is!! And it is a special day for me too. Know why? There are many reasons. I'm just gonna tell you 5 :

1. I made it to college without getting wet in the rain and managed to crossed the roads safely (ya know how difficult it is to cross a road in Penang!)

2. God answered my prayer! It's another day of feeling God's presence in me and that inexplicable feeling of being loved and joy infinitely above that which I felt with TY (sorry, but I still love u *muacks*).

3. I woke up thinking about Travis Fimmel...drool....awwwwww....what a great way to start a day!

4. Still have the wonderful song by 3 Doors Down in my head ..... everything i have in this world, all that i'll ever be, it could all fall down around me, just as long as i have u right here by me. sob sob :')

5. More yummy food ...yum yum :P

I Love It, when...

I love it
when you pull me
close to you
so i can bury my head
in your warm chest
when you hold me close
smelling my hair
while i listen
to your strong, steady heartbeat.
I love it
when you have that distant look
as it'll make me ask
Are you ok?
Is everything all right?
then you'll hold my hands
look at me
so convincingly
and say
Everything's fine.
I love it
when you see me sad
because you'll make a joke
because it makes me laugh
but
i feel even more joy
when the laughter is yours
when i see
your amazing smile
because I told a joke
because it made you laugh.
And I love it
when the moment is perfect
for the words
to be spoken
for me to say
I love you.
the shine in your eyes
the warm smile on your face
already said to me
what i needed to hear
what i know you'll say
with the tender look
even before you say
I love you too.
Darn, guess some people are not born to be a poet. And I'm pretty sure I'm one of them :)

Zero Comprehensiveness.

I have to agree with one of my classmates that English law and judges are impossible to understand. Don't know what I mean?

Try reading just one 2-page judgment (yes, only a 2-page one will do!) from any English law reports OR check out my friend's post here (www.sleepypurpleworld.blogspot.com/2005/09/english-judges.html).

And in addition to her theories, I would like to add another theory:

5) They can't even come up with proper names. We came across judges with names like "Cockburn", "Cross" and "Upjohn". I will not be surprise if in the future there's a judge called "Assburn","Tick" or "Downjack".

College Road Bullies.

These people are unbelievable...and frustrating, not frightening.

Half-way during Law of Succession lesson yesterday, the college security guard knocked on our class room door and asked whether KBK XXXX(altered for the interest of the real victim) belongs to anyone of us. Yes, it was one of my classmates'.

So she took her car keys and went out to move her car which was blocking another student's car. The guard was saying that they were really angry and were shouting.

The next time my classmate opened the class room door and enter the class room again, she looked shocked. Eleven pairs of eyes were on her (including Mr. Khoo's)... Then she spoke with a shaky voice :"They punctured my tyres."

Gasps!!!!! I thought :"What the f***??!"

OK, we all admit that my classmate was wrong in not leaving a note on her car stating her number, name and class. But these b******s have no right to do that to her car!! These Ah Beng's are really out of control! They could have been a lil bit more civilised...be a lil bit more patient and act gentlemanly like asking the guard to go around the college asking who's the owner of the car. And come on, that's not so difficult. IPG main campus has only 3 levels and 17 classrooms!

Wanna know something worse?

Another classmate of mine went down to check out the situation and returned with equally shockness in his face, saying :"They scratched her car also." And it's not a tiny one-inch scratch. It's the whole car!! Plus, they even left a very rude and vulgar note on her car, with all the chinese bad words you can find in the Bad Words Dictionary.

If it weren't for two students who witnessed the puncturing of her tyres, my classmate wouldn't even know it happened. And it is so dangerous!! What if she lost control while driving later??

Thank God, the lovely Mr Khoo immediately escorted her to make the complaint. And she left to a workshop to refill her tyres...3 of them punctured!!

The saddest part was...she didn't see the car plate number of that idiot's car. And therefore, she couldn't lodge a police report for this criminal damage.

So ppl, next time, please leave a note on your car(better inside because people can simply remove a note on the car) if you are blocking somebody. And watch out for their car plate numbers!!

All of us in the class felt outraged! But is there anything we can do?

I prayed to God. And He assuringly replied :"Don't have to do anything now. Events will go as God planned. Things happen for a reason, and don't worry about these bullies not getting what they deserved."

Pessimism Overload.

Yes, I am a pessimist. Proof?

10 things I hate about myself:
1. My flat-as-airport nose
2. My green bean sized eyes
3. My never-seemed-to-tone-up abs
4. I get jealous easily
5. Always blame myself
6. My shoulders are too broad
7. I'm good at nothing
8. Too emotional
9. I look facially-retarded when I talk
10. Indecisiveness

10 things I like about myself:
1. to 10. My ability to eat like there's no tomorrow :)

Iced Iced Mocha

On the list of my favourite things in IPG, there used to be the canteen's Iced Mocha.

Almost every morning I drink a cup of the Iced Mocha in the canteen while waiting for the clock to strike 8.30am when my classes for the day begin. It was so think, and the balance between the coffee and chocolate was perfect.....

But as you can see, it's all 'WAS'.....

The quality of the Iced Mocha in IPG is declining not slowly, but quickly! It's no longer think.... and it will always be too sweet (too much chocolate) or too thin (too much water).

This morning I bought a cup of Iced Mocha, and I didn't even drink half of it... it's so terrible I can bring myself to drink it.

I have one thing ticked off my favourite things list now.

6.9.05

LLB Mumbler.

Mike Teevee is a mumbler to Willy Wonka. Can you imagine how irritating and pissed Willy Wonka gets whenever Mike Teevee mumbles?

I can. Not because I have watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Not because I have read the book by Roald Dahl.

My class has a mumbler now. And yeah, he's damn irritating!!

Whenever the lecturer says something or is explaining an issue to the class, this LLB Mumbler will just pop a question without asking the lecturer's permission beforehand, or raises his POI's randomly. He does it loudly, but he swallows his words and we can't really hear or understand that he's saying all the time!

The LLB Mumbler is pissing me, AiChing and some other classmates of mine off!

Back to SleepiNess

Yeah! My results are out!! THank Gofd I did well... It'll be disastrous to let me lecturers, friends, TY and my family down (especially after how my granma responded when I told her I did well...she actually said :"Of course U'll do well, cos ur my granchild. My grandchildren never let me down."). Now I really hate to disappoint her, I love my granma very much!

Today's orientation day. I never understand why do we still need to attend orientation although we are continuing students, not freshies! But anyway, it doesn't really matter cos I am not gonna pay attention to what Saini will say, I am just going to get the schedule, catch up with my lovely classmates whom I miss, and then head off for my second time of watching Charlie and The Chocolate Factory :P

I am a chocoholic! Cant miss that movie hehe

Classes had finally resume. Tomorrow's first day of my Finals Part 2, and it is back to era of sleepiness. I can picture myself yawning thousands of times in class...yawn yawn yawn yawn yawn yawn........zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Good night...zzzzzzzzzzz........drool......

Finally, it is time.

August is ending, which means that finally, after the agonizing 3 months long of waiting, it is time...

...to face the good, or the worst...
...to lend a shoulder to a friend who didn't make it...
...to put a stop to the mental and physical torture from waiting...
...to bade farewell to the maximum-utilised holidays...

It is time... for us to march into the office of our colleges to aswer to the shit we created 3 months ago in the stuffy, ill-equipped exam hall...

Oh, not all of us will have to face shit... Well, at least I think I'm one of the candidates who screwed up in the exam in Dewan Cheeseman in June. Hmm, maybe the thoughts of cheese was the main cause of my inability to concentrate during the exam. So now I have to prepare myself mentally and physically (hey, it's not easy to climb a flight of stairs when your legs are the size of KLCC twin tower!) to face my lovely lecturers, minus Saini, to take the results slip!!

I can picture it happenning... As I enter the IPG staff room, all eyes will be fixed on me as I dragged my feet into Saini's office. But my feet will feel as though someone had spread elephant glue on the soles of my shoes and they just won't move an inch... Somehow I managed to walk... Left...Right...Left...Right... until I stopped in front of Saini's desk when he hands me an A4 size paper with an irritating smirk on his Mr. Bean face. I grabbed the paper with my shaky hands, blink twice, takes in a gallon of air, and lower my eyes onto the paper. There, printed in black Times New Roman font, are the results of my Finals Part 1 exam... and...

Arrgghhh!!!!!

I'd prefer no to think about it because I know if I did, I will panic! But I can't help it! Last night I even dreamt of my results... which was impossible! In the dream I got 70, 70, 72 and 75! 75??!! Impossible... especially impossible after what I wrote for my last Evidence question... and my Land problem question...and.... Oh, I really don't want to think about it.

I know I have to be prepared for better, and also the worst.

My worries aside... TY got his results just yesterday. To me, he did pretty well!! He got 3 A's and 2 C's. Although he didn't seem to be happy about the C's, I was very very proud of him. In fact, if I got a C, I will be jumping until there's a hole in the ground.

We celebrated his good results at KFC. You must be thinking why KFC? Well, we're both kinda broke and I miss the potato wedges sooooooo much! But I didn't pay attention to the large wedges I ordered or even the spicy chicken lying on my plate calling out to me to eat them quick before they run away. From the moment we sat down until the moment I sipped the last drop of my Pepsi, I was adoring TY all the time.

Honestly, I never expect he would do so well for his studies now :P I admit he is smart, but very lazy too. During Form 5, he missed 80% of classes. While we were cursing Einstein's formulas in physics and the ammonia substance which smelt like fart during chemistry lessons, he was happily sleeping in his hostel dorm, or having his private physics lessons at the snooker centre or Add Maths lessons in his dorm while chor-dee-ing. When he sms-es me, I will know, it's time to lend my exercise books for him to copy so he can pass it up to the teachers. Hmm, maybe that's how we fell in love with each other. He barely knew how to answer 2 simple chemistry questions, but he's getting A's now.

Anyway, my point is, look at how much he has changed over four years!!.....err, hmm, maybe he didn't change at all :P (just look at his cheeky smile and his cunning face in the pic).

Once a womaniser, always a womaniser! Hey, now I see how did he get his A's!!

Wish I can get A's too.

20 Going On 21

Celebration with friends at Italianni's 1 Utama. Strangely, the restaurant was using TGI Friday's serviettes!

Celebration at home with family. My cousin (most left one) was also celebrating her 10th birthday, while it's my 21st... but my cake is 10 times smaller than hers sob sob... Got the KEY to freedom and independence - from my parents.

I am officially an adult and can enter the casino without fear of being asked for my IC for inspection by the officers there FINALLY! Haha.

What's my best gift for this birthday? Wonderful friends, family and warm wishes...

Here's the Wannabe's

Performed for the opening of the Rexona No Sweat Dance Challenge Finals yesterday at Orange Dance Club, KL. The event was suppose to start at 4pm but the event'sanagement so inefficient that it was delayed for about an hour! Yeah, it is always 'Malaysian time'.

We have to cancel our full dress rehearsal last minute and had to go on stage unprepared! To make matters worse, my team had never had a practice as a 4-member team together before! It was only yesterday that we, for the first time, danced together and got our positions on the dance floor right. Luckily, thanks to Lily, the choreography of our dance was good and we managed to do OK. THANKS LILY!! WE OWE YOU ONE BIG ONE!

Many turned up for the finals... my old school friends, some celebrity and Hitomi all the way from Penang! Too bad the schedule was hectic and we weren't allowed to take pictures during the event. But I managed to snap some :P

Me in my 'Rexona for men' T-shirt and my bf's jeans (hehe, had to wear baggy jeans) for the performance (too bad no 'for women' :( )
Me and Davina, one of my team mate, taking a nap after the tiring first rehearsal on the couch in the holding room (which was more like a panic room)

Orange Dance Club, KL. Took this photo upon reaching there at 11am. But we only went in at 11.45am!! hai...Malaysian time...

Me, Davina and Bernard (another dance team mate) in his pink cap (eugh! :P ) in full dress waiting for the full dress rehearsal which was unfortunately canceled.

Oops, this is a lil bit dark.. Davina, me, Bernard and Sharol ( I think that's how his name is speeled) after our performance in the 'panic room'.

The show was good. Dance Mania, the winners of the dance challenge were awesome! You guys can catch it on TV3 every Tuesday at 7pm beginning from 9th August! You must watch them dance! :)

Insensitive Crip

I hate make-up. It's a waste of time, energy, money and it makes me feel unnatural. To me, make-up is like plastic surgery.... like pasting a thick layer of sticky substance on your face and your facial movements will be restricted. This is what I think of make-up.

But why my bf never understands?

It hurts me every time he asks me to make-up. I thought he hasn't accpeted me for who I am and that he thinks I'm not pretty or beautiful enough compared to other girls. I did make-up once. And I told him I won't do it again unless there's a performance or a really formal occasion. Now, he's requesting it again...repeatedly!

When I told him how his requests made me feel, he said I think irrelevantly. Omigod!

My situation now is like the TLC song 'Unpretty'. I cried before I slept yesteday right by his side.... and he didn't realise. Insensitive crip!!

No, I didn't mean the sign that aliens have landed on earth.... but I meant that everywhere I go I see Mercedes Benz S-class. Argghhhh!!!! It's a sign!!!

3 Accidents in 19 hours

Life can change in a split second....

Accident 1 :
This wasn't really my case... 12.ooam 21 July - When I was brushing my teeth preparing to go to bed, TY suddenly called out to me and asked me to finish my task. When I came out from the bath room...
Me: 'What happened?'
TY: 'My housemate's on his way back to pick us up. We're going to see an accident nearby.'
I was like 'huh?'
So we went in TY's housemate's car to the accident scene. On the way there, TY's housemate couldn't stop talking about how he saw it happened and how the Satria and the Evo spinned on the road and missed each other by inches and eventually hit the divider...bla bla bla....

The only thing on my mind on the journey was 'What's the thrill all about?'. I could see how TY andd his housemate was thrilled and excited about the accident but I really didn't the any sense in it.

After all the driving and exciting talk in the rain... when we reached the accident scene... both the Satria and the Evo had already left. Haha.

Accident 2:
6.00pm, 21 July - Had to attend a hiphop class in Sri Hartamas. Today TY didn't want to fetch me there. So I had to drive there myself. While reversing his car... I hit the side pillar. The left-rear signal light was smashed. Doomed!!

Accident 3:
6.30pm, 21 July - Upon reaching Sri Hartamas (after a painfully long journey...well, not literally long but because I was thinking about Accident 2 all the way the journey seemed longer than usual), I searched for a parking space right outside Plaza Damas. I saw a car about 20 meters behind came out. I immediately thought :"Free parking space!". I reversed... fast.... and BAM! (for the second time) ... the left-rear part of my car backed into another car....it was a......

.....Mercedes Benz S-Class!

I'm officially broke now :(

14.7.05

I can't wait...

Now I really wish I can fast-forward the time. All the advertisements and trailers are driving me nuts!! I can't wait to watch them...
  1. Harry Potter 4
  2. X-Men 3
  3. Spiderman 3
  4. Tim Burton's Corpse Bride
  5. Bill and Ted's Most Excellent Collection
  6. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
  7. The Chronicles of Narnia : The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe
  8. Shrek 3
  9. Pirates of the Carribean : Dead Man's Chest
  10. Underworld : Evolution
  11. A Scanner Darkly
  12. Il Mare (hehe, Keanu Reeves' so irresistable)

Well, that's all I can think of for now. Oh ya! Fantastic Four...am watching it in 6 hours' time. Cant' wait!

10.7.05

Disappointing Standard

None except one got through yesterday... only Lee Chong Wei made it to the semi finals in the 2005 Malaysian Open. It is so sad and very very disappointing.

I watched badminton tournaments on TV since I was little. Yesterday I got the opportunity to watch it live in the Cheras KLBA hall with TY and several of his shuttler friends. It was crowded! The tickets were sold out. Luckily I had friends who have the players pass and we managed to sneaked in using those passes.

Watching the men's doubles lose isn't a big shock to me. I have expected them to lose somehow :P But watching them play against Indonesia and China only showed one thing... the standard of the national shuttlers had either been static or deteriorated. That is very disppointing.

Although the Indonesians didn't really improved, the Chinese shuttlers showed amazing improvements. What happen to Malaysia then? Sad to say, if they proceed with such standard, Malaysia will never bag the Thomas Cup again, not unless all the other Chinese and Danish shuttlers suddenly contract an incurable skin disease and pull out from the game :P

KKK, Bin Shen, Soon Hock... please train smarter! ( I know you guys are training hard)

I'm still waiting for the day where the Malaysian shuttlers can truly be world No. 1.

5.7.05

Flowers

Nothing to do at home..so I picked up the digital cam lying on the table, went outside my house and snapped a photo of the flowers that blosommed in the small garden. Aren't they one of the most beautiful things in the world?

There are so many types of flowers today...edible, designer, etc... some are also deadly!

I remembered the first time I received a bouquet of flowers was in August 3 years ago. It was blue roses...on me and Teng Yung's anniversary. I would like to think of it as something really sweet of him... but then again, he got my roommate's instruction to give me blue roses :(

I still have a dried leaf from this bouquet glued to my diary. Since then, I still receive flowers once in a blue moon. But none of the times I have received the flowers will be as memorable as the first time (although it's not so sweet after all). The feeling is inexplicable. Now, I'd rather get chocolates :P yeah...what a chocoholic I am!
