Insensitive Crip

I hate make-up. It's a waste of time, energy, money and it makes me feel unnatural. To me, make-up is like plastic surgery.... like pasting a thick layer of sticky substance on your face and your facial movements will be restricted. This is what I think of make-up.

But why my bf never understands?

It hurts me every time he asks me to make-up. I thought he hasn't accpeted me for who I am and that he thinks I'm not pretty or beautiful enough compared to other girls. I did make-up once. And I told him I won't do it again unless there's a performance or a really formal occasion. Now, he's requesting it again...repeatedly!

When I told him how his requests made me feel, he said I think irrelevantly. Omigod!

My situation now is like the TLC song 'Unpretty'. I cried before I slept yesteday right by his side.... and he didn't realise. Insensitive crip!!

3 Accidents in 19 hours

Life can change in a split second....

Accident 1 :
This wasn't really my case... 12.ooam 21 July - When I was brushing my teeth preparing to go to bed, TY suddenly called out to me and asked me to finish my task. When I came out from the bath room...
Me: 'What happened?'
TY: 'My housemate's on his way back to pick us up. We're going to see an accident nearby.'
I was like 'huh?'
So we went in TY's housemate's car to the accident scene. On the way there, TY's housemate couldn't stop talking about how he saw it happened and how the Satria and the Evo spinned on the road and missed each other by inches and eventually hit the divider...bla bla bla....

The only thing on my mind on the journey was 'What's the thrill all about?'. I could see how TY andd his housemate was thrilled and excited about the accident but I really didn't the any sense in it.

After all the driving and exciting talk in the rain... when we reached the accident scene... both the Satria and the Evo had already left. Haha.

Accident 2:
6.00pm, 21 July - Had to attend a hiphop class in Sri Hartamas. Today TY didn't want to fetch me there. So I had to drive there myself. While reversing his car... I hit the side pillar. The left-rear signal light was smashed. Doomed!!

Accident 3:
6.30pm, 21 July - Upon reaching Sri Hartamas (after a painfully long journey...well, not literally long but because I was thinking about Accident 2 all the way the journey seemed longer than usual), I searched for a parking space right outside Plaza Damas. I saw a car about 20 meters behind came out. I immediately thought :"Free parking space!". I reversed... fast.... and BAM! (for the second time) ... the left-rear part of my car backed into another car....it was a......

.....Mercedes Benz S-Class!

I'm officially broke now :(

Disappointing Standard

None except one got through yesterday... only Lee Chong Wei made it to the semi finals in the 2005 Malaysian Open. It is so sad and very very disappointing.

I watched badminton tournaments on TV since I was little. Yesterday I got the opportunity to watch it live in the Cheras KLBA hall with TY and several of his shuttler friends. It was crowded! The tickets were sold out. Luckily I had friends who have the players pass and we managed to sneaked in using those passes.

Watching the men's doubles lose isn't a big shock to me. I have expected them to lose somehow :P But watching them play against Indonesia and China only showed one thing... the standard of the national shuttlers had either been static or deteriorated. That is very disppointing.

Although the Indonesians didn't really improved, the Chinese shuttlers showed amazing improvements. What happen to Malaysia then? Sad to say, if they proceed with such standard, Malaysia will never bag the Thomas Cup again, not unless all the other Chinese and Danish shuttlers suddenly contract an incurable skin disease and pull out from the game :P

KKK, Bin Shen, Soon Hock... please train smarter! ( I know you guys are training hard)

I'm still waiting for the day where the Malaysian shuttlers can truly be world No. 1.

Flowers

Nothing to do at home..so I picked up the digital cam lying on the table, went outside my house and snapped a photo of the flowers that blosommed in the small garden. Aren't they one of the most beautiful things in the world?

There are so many types of flowers today...edible, designer, etc... some are also deadly!

I remembered the first time I received a bouquet of flowers was in August 3 years ago. It was blue roses...on me and Teng Yung's anniversary. I would like to think of it as something really sweet of him... but then again, he got my roommate's instruction to give me blue roses :(

I still have a dried leaf from this bouquet glued to my diary. Since then, I still receive flowers once in a blue moon. But none of the times I have received the flowers will be as memorable as the first time (although it's not so sweet after all). The feeling is inexplicable. Now, I'd rather get chocolates :P yeah...what a chocoholic I am!
